You’re in good company!

Parenting?  Parenting teens and feeling alone?  You are not.  Listen to our podcast, check the events page, schedule a free consultation to learn more about what we do, and above all remember, you are SO not alone!

This isn’t a blog, because we left that for the podcast where we reach more people who have time to listen but not read.  No judgement, we totally get that!  We mentioned this poster- which has been in our (obviously unfurnished) basement for, oh, 20 years now- on the podcast (Positive Discipline which will air sometime in Feb 2024)and we didn’t know where to share it, so, here seemed as good a place as any.

As parents of teens, as a reminder for your teens-not everyone quits college and starts Apple Computers. Most of us are better served when we understand that failure may be part of the road to success, that failing is often necessary to get where we are going.

Who do YOU want to be as a parent to YOUR kids?  Listen to the podcast, own your mistakes but don’t live in them, get up, dust yourself off, look at your options and walk in that direction.  Or drive, with your kid next to you, with their phone off, and tell them what you’ve learned from your mistakes.  Then ask them what they’ve learned from theirs.
